9/11/09 – Have a meeting with an intuitive coach who tells me, unequivocally, it is time to leave the job and protect my health. She tells me to follow my passions. I speak with a friend across the miles this night who tells me she had an astrological reading 2000 miles away and the person told her “you have a Virgo [me] in your life who isn’t happy.” The reader tells my friend that the Virgo will not be in his job past September. I resolve to give notice.
9/14/09 – I give my two week notice.
9/14/09 – I start newjosh in a terrible mercury retrograde. Oh, well. I’ve done crazier things…like…um…quitting my job in a terrible recession.
10/2/09 – Pick up last paycheck from work. Have to drive almost 80 miles roundtrip. The HR place didn’t want to mail it, you see.

10/12/09 – Good news from an editor regarding an article (more updates on this soon!)
10/17/09 – Shot first footage for project I’ve been trying to get off the ground
11/12/09 – We have reached 60 days!
1/1/10 – Article published in major magazine
1/5/10 – Looks like I’ll be teaching again…
